Did the background to Windows File Explorer windows turn dark after this update? I have always had the Dark Theme on, but my File Explorer windows were always light until this update.....weird.

Some of my image file associations have been knocked off too.

It's not weird, in the past many Windows 10 users have complained about the Dark Theme being half baked and not going far enough. In this build it has gone one step further and allowed File Explorer to have a dark theme. If you don't like it just use a Light Theme and File Explorer backround becomes white again.

I agree about the file associations though, that becomes a pain when you have to change them manually.

Ah okay I see. The desktop is older also and I know older machines have more issues on updates than newer...
Not necessarily. My 10+ year old desktop updates with no issues.

My second machine is 12+ and shows no sign of quitting as of yet.

I like the dark theme they had going and knew they were going to start covering more of the desktop environment in the theme but this implementation seems half baked I don't know what it is. Just seems like a 3rd party theme and not MS maybe I'm being fussy.

Not here, the bug is still there, I also think that if Microsoft had fixed this bug, they would have announced it in the list of improvements and fixes of this CU, when this bug was fixed in 19H1, they announced it clearly.
Well, it's back. Why? Only the Shadow knows. Guess MS will fix it before the end of time.

Yes after a restart first time I click action center it pops out on left for a split second then pops normally on the right for the rest of the time. Submitted ticket though feedback hub about it.

I don't mind, as long as my PC is just working... Left or right, I don't care... :)
