You can use UUP Dump Downloader: download Windows 10 ISO images

Download ithere: UUP dump downloader v1.0.1
Recommend you get the zipped Archive version: uupdownloader_1.0.1.7z.See the Ghacks article for how to use it. No install, just unzip in a folder and run uupdownloader.cmd to download the iso you want then use the iso to upgrade to a later insider buildm like 18305.1003 1809.

    Same issue on 18305, 18309 and 18312

Strange issue with Hyper-V, anyone else seeing this:

Trying to switch VM to enhanced mode, VM Connection tries to change the mode but fails after a second or two, showing "Video remoting was disconnected", then tries again, and again. Only way to exit the loop is to close VM Connection window, reconnect and not switch the mode.

Enhanced mode works on those virtual machines which were switched to enhanced mode before the upgrade, and the mode settings saved. It does not work on any new virtual machines, nor on those created prior to upgrade but mode settings not saved.

I have exactly the same problem with versions 18305, 18309 and 18312. System works well in a non enhanced session but fails to boot in an enhanced mode

    hi, Hernamp,

That error code is extremely pertinant
Its saying that the Core base directory cannot be found, (in your case because its expired), so it cannot update, its a pre-requisite
(like in the old days W7 needed certain KB's to be pre-installed before you could update to SP1)

    Clean install unfortunately

    Roy

    EDIT
just had a really silly thought might just work - Change the date on your system
Thanks Hawkman... Tried it, but still the same error. I'm downloading the latest update via UUP to try to update it that way.

If that does not work, what is the best way to do a clean install? How do I keep my license number?

    Thanks so much!

    That did not work
I got the "update to" version, but it says to use the x64 disk when run I boot from my hard drive and run it from the DVD, and it says to boot via the HD when I boot from the DVD... Frustrating!

Downloading now the "install" version, hopefully I can do a clean install.

You have to update/install the same version that's licensed on your computer; either 64 bit or 32 bit. If you have Home, you'll have to install Home unless you've upgraded to Pro; if you have Pro, you have to install Pro.

I have just downloaded and installed version 18290 and it runs ok in aan enhanced session. Then I updated to version 18312 and it does NOT run in an enhanced session it gives the same problem as before.

It worked OK, but I just realized that I have win32 PRO, and am not using the 12GB installed on my PC, only 4. Can I install win64 even if I had win32 before?
I want to be able to use that extra memory....

    Thanks!

Enable Settings Header Bar using the Mach2 Tool.
This should work in Build 18928 and up.
Download the appropriate version of the Mach2 Tool, (x86 or x64), unblock it if necessary, extract the contents to a desired location, open the folder and open a Command window as Administrator there...
    Make sure Settings is closed,
paste and Enter the following commands one by one...

mach2 enable 18299130 (Enables the value banner)

    mach2 enable 19638738 (Enables OneDrive)

    mach2 enable 19638787 (Enables Rewards)

mach2 enable 18863954 (Enable for domain-joined machines (internal))

    Restart your PC.
