    @Cliff S I reported this same problem a while ago in the Insider sub-forum Build 18305 will not run in Enhanced Session mode in Hyper V
    @Kari had also spotted it!

    I find it very frustrating! I have to run without enhanced mode and do not get sound or other benefits from the host computer.

    Reported in Feedback Hub but whether they will notice...
    Can you post the link Phil, so I can upvote and give my 10 cents(2 cents is not enough for this)?

    Thanks, my comments:
    Same here.
    Microsoft how can you expect Win10 to work on real hardware, when it doesn't even work on your own hypervisor, which has your UEFI/BIOS, your drivers, and your own network adapter?

    It took me three day to figure out to turn off enhanced mode to get 18305 to boot into Windows.

    It's not the sandbox(that's the link to feedback you posted) Kari, I couldn't get into the OS itself.

    That's ok, maybe it's that new "feature" causing the problem with being able to continue using Enhanced Mode(or one of the other newer Defender enhancements).

    Hyper-V Enhanced mode sounds a lot like Oracle VB Guest Editions which I've been having problems with.

    Cliff, RDP works, giving the same than enhanced mode which in fact is just a variation of RDP.
