    Vmware works fine here, ie has menu bar, 1003 update didnt break anything, no GSOD, no freezes, all is fine.
    Task scheduler, as stated, does not show any tasks in this build and command line should be used.
    Also I have enabled 3rd party themes support, it works fine and even better than before, the uwp section is more pronounced, colors are better, it's like they did some work to better support 3rd party visual styles. Icon packs did not work too well, so I uninstalled them. Also enabled HLP files support (old windows help viewer) as well as windows 7 classic games. All is well.
    Lately, the upgrades dont enable fast startup if you had it disabled(good!), nor is UAC get's enabled, so many settings are respected. As usuall, I completely disable all telemetry and any phone home stuff.
    Also, tried to bring back classic boot menu(legacy) with last known good config support(just like windows 7)- they work fine.
    One thing that does crash, is if you click on network icon in log on screen, it does not work.

    Yes, while Sandbox worked, it worked with or without hypervisor, I was trying to get VMware to work so I enabled and disabled all those settings.

    Hi there
    @er557

    It's fine until you start messing about with Sandbox. After disabling Sandbox - did that after I'd tested the sandbox VMware bridged networking won't work on my system again --It was fine until I decided to test the sandbox function -- you can't run VMware concurrently with the sandbox and it seems to get broken partially after you've used the sandbox even though you've disabled it.

    I restored system to state before I enabled the sandbox at all and VMWare was working just fine.

    Anyway off to pub now to watch to UK Premier league football (real one with the round ball !) games -- Chelsea Vs Leicester at 15.00 then Man Utd against Cardiff at 17.30 so I'll expect to have sunk a lot of booze by this evening -- most people here are Man utd fanatics !!!!

    Beats the hideous Sat before Christmas traipsing around stores !!!!

    No geo-blocking here so sat 15.00 games are all available - I think the pub owner is using an ROI (Irish) sky box though !!!

    Cheers

    After 11 attempts of MU failing to do the update to 18305.1003 on my pc, I finally downloaded UUP and made an ISO. Was more time consuming but it worked on the first try. Also updated other the other pc that never recognized that there was an update.

    Not everyone has it. Looks like they are A/B testing it.

    Checkbox or Toggle.

    The multitasking section in Settings has some changes in this build:

    And it seems that Microsoft is finally going to move more power options from the control panel to the Power & sleep section of the Settings app:
