I haven't been on the Insider Track for several months but today I just received the brand new Microsoft Annual Report in the mail. While eating lunch I was thumbing through all of my favorite sections of the Microsoft 2018 Annual Report (my collection goes back to 1985, complete) and it all seemed so cheery that I decided to re-join the Insider Program and see what was happening.

I installed this version, it took about 30 minutes total, and there were no real issues but a couple of minor complaints. They changed my wallpaper. I've had the same wallpaper forever and the new version is similar but different. Oh well, I will see if I can get use to it. Also, the screen after I log in is now very badly out of focus.

Those are the issues I have right now. I will run this build and see how it works.

"We fixed an issue where the Open Folder icon in File Explorer had a white background when using dark theme"

This icon was quite "famous" for its white background.

Just to address one point of yours. The logon screen being badly out of focus is by design (as of now). It is the new and improved MS "Blurred to Focus" logon screen. Their rationale is that by blurring everything except the pic and the box, you stay Focused on the task of signing in. Don't shoot the messenger! MS seems to think it's cool. Hmmmmmm

RE: post# 51 above, how to get rid of this NVIDA install attempt. Will it eventually go away? I no longer have access to "check for updates"

Luckily, you can turn off transparency effects to no longer have the blurred sign in screen.

Kinda stupid to have to turn off all transparency just to ditch the blurred sign-in screen, though!

Agreed. Hopefully, it'll be a separate setting in a future build.
