    This is sort of neat...

You can unpin 'Folders' from the Start Menu but the 'Group' remains..., empty, as opposed to unpinning the entire Group name and all!

The empty Group remains, you can re-add to it later...

( @Brink - I know, I know... you probably covered this somewhere too!!!)

Emilcioran99 - read post # 160 carefully. See if you follow directions - especially step 6, and see if it works. I had reread this and did it and it worked. I have sound again.
Thanks but as I said here (look at the picture) I have no "unknown device" so I can't install any driver to that unknown device.

This is my sound, video and game controllers in 18290:

Today I worked like a madman to this.
    Unistalling S9 didn't change anything.
There are no other sound controllers apearing besides Nvidia virtual audio and that M$ hd audio controller that apears in the picture with that yellow triangle...

    Try this:

Delete invalid or corrupted Registry entries
If all above solutions didn’t fix the problem then open registry editor by press windows + R, type regedit and ok. Frist backup registry database then navigate to
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\GUID path
( Select the GUID as per your problematic device, for ex I am face problem with USB device then for me the GUID is 36fc9e60-c465-11cf-8056-444553540000 ) And the exact path for me is

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\36fc9e60-c465-11cf-8056-444553540000

    4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318 Audio and video devices
    Media

Note: For Different problematic Device GUID may Different For Ex if you having problem with Audio device then the GUID is 4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318
Look at the right-pane and Delete (right-click > Delete) the following registry entries (values) if found:
    UpperFilters
    LowerFilters

Close Registry Editor and restart your computer
