    One thing that has been in these builds forever that really bugs me.

    I run as English (Canada) as my prefered language with the English (United States) display language. And it constantly adds the English (United States) language during the upgrade process. Clean install doesn't see this happen.

    Also the last few builds it freezes on the following screen when I hit ok.

    No sound problems here. I upgraded from a clean install of 17763 (fully updated to .168), and it was one of the l o n g e s t installations I ever had. Three bounces (that I am aware of, maybe a fourth), then a long, long time in the post-restart phase.

    That said, everything seems to be working just fine. I've tested it for all of 10 minutes - we'll see what surfaces with more use...

    Add me to the list with sound broken.

    I can get it to work with my Logitech H800 headset, but cannot change settings to my regular speakers. I don't want to be forced to use my headset all the time.
    my sound is intact - at least on two systems.

    Actually, I made a clean install from the ISO I made when I got the original release of 1809 on 2 October. Immediately after the install, I did all the updates, bringing it to .168. Then I put it on the Fast Ring, and here I am at 18298.

    Fresh install of 18290 from ISO in a Virtualbox VM and now I'm getting the update.

    VMware doesn't work still and .mrimg can't be mounted without the fix.
    Hi there

    @CountMike

    just tried it too -- same problem both on an update and a clean install. So still no good for me. Backed up image and restored standard 1809. Will wait again for VMware fix and restore image or wait for next build.

    Cheers
