    Right, there is but I would like to perform future updates over Settings, not manually so I would like to find a fix.

    Are you in Skip ahead ring ? There's a way to force it by using registry. There's .reg file somewhere in tutorials.

    Skip Ahead to Next Release for Windows 10 Insiders in Fast Ring | Tutorials

    These are registry changes in it:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\UI\Selection]
    "UIContentType"="Skip"
    "UIRing"="WIF"

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability]
    "ContentType"="Skip"
    "Ring"="WIF"

    You could also try manually restarting update process, those things may shake it into starting update.

    Hi there
    Thanks

    Interesting to get hold of this build -- hopefully before Christmas.

    Cheers

    It looks like there should be a tick box option for virtualizing VT-x/AMD-v and VT-d in VMWare. I saw some screenshots for this. I can't verify this since I don't have it installed. But that option has been hidden in the engine for years as an unstable feature, so it's very likely it has now been declared stable and can be enabled with a single click.

    Here's the link to the page I saw this:

    Put your adblocker and popup blocker to MAX before entering. ;-)

    Hi there
    @slicendice

    It's in the VM configuration settings under processor (at least in WKS V 14 and 15) -- Probably in VMPlayer one would have to edit the actual config file -- probably the best way would be to create a dummy VM with WKS and then examine the created config file if one was using VMplayer.

    Cheers

    There is a bug when you open Snip & Sketch from the Action center, it is assumed that, after clicking on the quick access button, the Action center should hide automatically but instead, it reopens:

    Snip & Sketch when opened from the Action center.

    Of course there are other ways to open that tool, using key combinations, from the taskbar icon (if you have it pinned), etc. but I like to always open it from the Action center, I think it's a bug that has to do with the build because this app was recently updated and the problem was not fixed.

    Oh, Edge is really devious when it tries to keep you from making another PDF reader the default . . . It says the app isn't the default . . . wanna make it so? You say yes, and Edge wins; that is, until I busted it, then told it No!
