I will watch for your test results with interest. The only machine I cannot (yet) update to the public release of 1809 is the one I run VMs on as it suffers from the virtual switch issue when I do.
Not had a chance yet as very busy plus a stinker of a head cold. However, you do know that if you delete the external switches and use the (newish) default switch, the issue is bypassed?

Sorry to hear that. No rush, I don't expect .167 will go 'public' until next 'Patch Tuesday'. Just taking notes for when it does....

Thanks. No, I didn't. But so far I haven't been able to get XP to work with the default switch. Maybe it can be done, but the path of least resistance is to just use an external switch.

Well, it improved from 2 Mb/S to 10 Mb/s but still way short of my 72 Mb/s.

    So still fubared for me.

I do not know about XP and Virtual Switches.

nice to have the default file association bugs fixed with this update as noted by MS-
Addresses an issue that prevents some users from setting Win32 program defaults for certain app and file type combinations using the Open with… command or Settings > Apps > Default apps.

Marty you can download 17763.167 full version using UUPDownloader. I checked it out tonight and it looks ok.
So far four installations updated using the ISO file with no issues whatsoever.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Indeed it is. No need to be on the IP programme either. Just mount the ISO file and run an in place upgrade.

    So give it a spin.

    Cheers,
