Hi Andre Ten, I just switched back to the 18282 to see if your suggestions would work and the darned thing is working fine without any help. I had tried shutting down and restarting yesterday without any luck.
I have set it to the slow lane now.
    Sometimes it heals itself
Had to reset network myself, couple of builds back (Setting / Network... at the bottom )

Something a bit off topic, but do any of you guys use Teamviewer? If so, what do you think about it? Thanks.

Team Viewer is awesome. You don't even have to install it in order to use it.

    Hi folks
I tend to dislike those sorts of things

It's actually quite easy to access your own machines these days with decent internet -- either use a domain or if you don't want that just run a background script on your home computer say ever 30 mins which gives you the external IP address from your ISP, do a sendmail to say your phone with the IP address and simply RDP to your home computer with the IP address from the isp. These days once you've booted the IP address won't change probably during the entire time the remote computer is booted up. If you don't like RDP (and HOME versions of windows can't serve RDP sessions) then use other things like OpenVPN or whatever -- whole slew of things out there - just takes a slight smidgen of time to get it all working.

You could even set up an internet server on your remote machine - for Linux LAMP (Linux, apache, Mysql (or Maria db now) and php) and for windows WAMP (Windows, apache,Mysql (Maria DB) and php)

Use puty for tunnelling so it's quite safe and easy and you don't need to leave a slew of ports open.

    Have fun

    Cheers

That ain't going to work for what I use TV for, Jimbo. It has got to be simple for my client people to get me online!

Until now I realize of this subtle change made in Acrylic:

    Settings.
    Action center.
    Start menu.
    Calendar.

The change is quite noticeable with a white background, I think that's precisely why the change was made, in apps like Settings, the panel on the left did not look good if there was a white background behind it:

    Settings.
    Action center.
    Start menu.

[QUOTE=magilla;1518584]Does not always work. Several of us have had problems with uupdump — very sporadic

On all my VMs I have not had any issues with uuptoiso (ver 3) for making build iso so I haven't bother with uupdump.

I prefer Splashtop as it has a nicer interface, especially from a phone or tablet.

Only slight downside is it requires a modest annual fee for internet access.I used to use TV for file transfer over internet now and then but I tend to just use onedrive nowadays.
