    Via WU. Never used any other method as this is my main comp. Yes, I always have a current Macrium image!

    Guess I will find out soon whether the next one works or not!
    Were you never offered the download, or did it fail to install multiple times?

    Is that why you are tacking about it in past tense ?
    Anyway, 1 day to find and prepare turkey, 1 to eat it and 3 to recuperate.

    Oh, yes, it was offered and it has been through the getting ready, downloading etc etc then failed with "There were problems installing some updates, but we will try again later". Gave error 0x0000374.

    Been through this rigmarole several times with same result.

    Updating from ISO may work. I had to do it last few builds but not with this one.

    Hi there

    what's this obsession with turkey -- other than bad software it's horribly bland meat -- there's a whole slew of much more tasty stuff available - and in USA aren't Chickens and Turkeys prepared with a lot of added chlorine which is why they are banned from being imported into the EU and EEA.

    US farmers say chlorine-washed chicken should be part of a UK free trade deal - BBC News

    The stuffing is often more tasty although I like legs more than white meat.

    Hi there

    @kado897

    while not turning this into a debate about ecologically / enviromnetally and sustainable agriculture - problem probably with chicken (also another hideously bland meat) in UK are the 1000's of those hideous unhygenic run down looking take away / kebap etc places that a typical british town high street seems to consist of about 90% these days.

    All that meat hanging around relatively uncooked can't be healthy either for the shop workers or the people eating that stuff.

    Alligator tails, osterich, goose, rabbit, duck, beef etc - infinitely more tasty !!!

    @CountMike

    I've always preferred the "fry ups" after Xmas dinner than the Xmas dinner itself !!! maybe just me but I find the left overs fried up a day later absolutely delicious.

    Can't say I've ever tasted alligator tails or ostrich but the others are more tasty. We should eat more fish too and not just cod & haddock.

    Hi there

    @kado897

    sustainable fishing -- there's a whole slew of available fish products that barely get a mention and it's very healthy and can be caught decently while preserving fish stocks

    simple - but how many people eat Hake, Bass, Sole, Red snapper, even conger eel can be made great with vinegar -- and what about great Dutch Herrings !!! plus decently smoked kippers from Scotland.

    Anyway I think we'd better get back to Windows again !!!

    Cheers
