Irritants :

1) File explorer -- map network drive now has to be done from Network in file explore and then you browse to the HDD you need. Old way was you had against network drives right mouse click context -->map network drive.

2) Standard Background is now Bonkersly TOO bright (almost sky blue) instead of the rather more subdued blue of previous versions.

I'll have a go re-installing VMWARE workststion to see if that fixes it -- I really need VMWARE though. If that doesn't work I'll have to trash this build.

Update -- uninstall and re-install vmware

Working properly.

When using VMware can you access USB flash drives? I'm using Linux Mint 19 in VMware 15 Player and I can not successfully connect to a USB flash drive. When I try Linux Mint freezes and I can't shut down VMware Player. I have to shut down or restart my laptop.

Does anyone know how long the insider builds will last? I got mine free of charge, no updates from older systems, it always runs without any activation, I have run about 4 clean installs so far when a build turns it's toes up.

I've not tried it magilla but if that build is in the list then there's no reason why it shouldn't.

Thanks - and thanks to @kado897 too. I didn’t see it in list. But I’m going to try it on some build just for ‘practice’. Been doing uuptoiso for most of my builds.

I've just checked the list again magilla and version 1809 build 17763.134 is there so you shold be ok

But why not just use the mct?

But why not just use the mct?

i did on one computer but wanted to play with uupdump. I actually have 1809.134 on 5 computers, but I wanted to see how I can download on uupdump and make iso.

To anyone having problems with VMware (my is VMware Workstation 15).

I solved the problem myself as follow:

1. Go to - C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Workstation\ and look for [netbridge.inf].

2. Right click on it and choose install

3. Then go to your network adapter properties and place a check mark on [VMware Bridge Protocol].

4. Repeat number 3 to all of yours VMware network adapter.

After that you now should be able to bridge your VM network.
