This update was very quick. It took a total of 3 and a half minutes, about 2 and half minutes to download and install and about one minute to restart.

All is good with no problems.

When I went to check for updates, it was there waiting for a restart. Wish they would all do that!!

I think most of us got that.
You are right. I have just finished installing it on my main machine and went to check update history. Exactly the same thing as the screenshot above which was taken on my secondary machine.

4 PCs updated fine, but got 'CRITICAL PROCESS DIED' BSOD during the restarting process on an old OptiPlex 755 SFF! This will be interesting as I have 2 more these to update....

The 2nd machine, with very similar (old) specs updated without any issues! I have another, with a quad-core instead of dual-core CPU that will have to wait until tomorrow.

I also got the same GSOD on first reboot after installing the KB. After the dump, it booted into windows fine.

I am confused if I am supposed to have both updates or just this one. On the subject of first update not installing then second time installing I think the reason for this is that the service stack update is not downloading before first attempt but is downloading after it has failed and then the second one loads ok this happened on the last update we had and I think it is a fault in windows update

The key word is "Cumulative" meaning the later update includes the former. The reason for the first failure I think is that it needed a Servicing Stack Update before it could succeed. For some reason Servicing Stack Updates don't appear in history. We had this behaviour with .107 in the RP ring.
