    Being a quietly retired guy with nothing better to do, I did a fresh install of the 1803 version to see how an upgrade to 1809 would go. I used the MCT to upgrade, and after a thrilling 2 hour upgrade I arrived at 1809 (17763.107). About 30 minutes ago I got the CU that took me to 17763.134. All without any noticeable problems. So far I've tested on facebook slots and watching some videos and all is smooth as silk.

    Oh, and additionally things I thought would be toast are still there, such as Classic Shell menu.

    Could anyone using the dark theme for file explorer confirm (or otherwise) that the following shortcut filepath which opens 'Libraries' directly does so either smoothly or do you get a white screen momentarily before Libraries open? Following a clean install of the latest release I see the white screen which is visually poor and spoils the experience. It only lasts for around 0.2 seconds at most.

    Code:
    %WinDir%\explorer.exe /e,::{031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}

    The transition is instantaneous here too, don't see any flash of white.

    Thanks for testing. I didn't get this first time around with 1809 but I'm getting it now following a clean install with yesterdays release.

    Ordinary file explorer still opens cleanly and retains the dark theme throughout the screen transition, however the library shortcut does not.

    @CountMike what do you mean slow

    Just going to have a read through @sunberg link

    Also...

    Just ran a DISM 'resetbase' and got this:

    If that's machine on your "My computer" list, it has relatively slow graphics.

    I get some white for a split second, but I have to really look for it to notice.
