Seems that half of the world is getting the 1809 ISO at the same time.

Although I do not need MCT ISO, I wanted to test it. Downloading the 18 MB MediaCreationTool.exe took over 10 minutes. Launching the tool, it shows 1% progress at the moment, full 15 minutes after I launched it. Download speed jumping between 300 and 800 Kbps:

    Attachment 212240
Is this because the MCT build is showing 17763.1 and you think if people use it offline to do installs they'll lose files?

I would laugh my man bits off if this were true.

I CU'ed both my rehabilitated RP builds to .134 and there was no failed update. I think the fails are usual missing SSU (WU not processing them in order) and the W10 Update history lists .107 and .134 in the wrong order as they've been given the same date (.107 should be left alone by WU for .134 anyway, IMO)

    1) Go to mediacreationtool site in Edge

    2) press f12 to get developer pane

    3) click on undock icon in top right hand

    4) Select emulation tab, and set user agent string to Apple Safari (Ipad)

    5) You can now download iso direct from mct site (it will have changed). This is much faster.

Where can I download the ISO directly instead of the media creator? It's reaaaaally schloooowwwwwwww......
Instead of using third-party tools to download the ISOs (even if those ISOs come from the Microsoft servers, the site is still third-party, so it's not official), you can get a direct link to download the ISOs using the third option of this tutorial:

I just downloaded the iso directly from MS instead of using mct and installed it in a vm WITH NO NETWORK connection and it installed 17763.107. I connected to network and it updated directly to 17763.134.

So the MCT is downloading 1776.107. The mct version does not always match the sub-build - it is common misconception the mct build is identical - only the major build number is always identical.

So If I was you, I would see a doctor about the health of your man bits.

That's good to hear. I have the doctor on speed dial but I won't worry him today

The desktop right click context meni item "new" timelag is still there.

Yet this was fixed ages ago in the Insider Fast Ring builds. Whilst I accept some new bugs may get detected, surely bugs aleady proven should have been transposed.

I think MS broke the structure that we have all gotten used too. Especially those of us that installed 1809 the first day wondering if our systems were going to start having serious issues, After so much time passed without a re-release and security patches. What I noticed is that this and all the other Windows 10 forums were all in hesitation mode wondering what would happen next.

Upgraded without any problems. I can't believe there is now a tick box to empty the 'Downloads' folder in both Disk CleanUp and 'Free up space now' in Settings. That's crazy!!
