Because of the quick download and even faster install, I can't help but wonder if these last two 1809 updates aren't an abbreviated version of the full update? Both updates on both machines were much quicker than the "norm"
These CU's were just for folks already running 1809, bringing them up to speed. It was not the full Feature Update, which ought to come along soon.

Ah but if you already have a stock of the things left over from pre USB stick days, may as well use them, makes no difference to the environment as they already exist in fact using them is better than throwing them away.
    Yep, Clam, I agree:

I designed this a few years ago when I had a lot of CDs and DVDs to recycle.

    Me, too, also.....

First thing, made MCT ISO onto another drive. Ran setup.exe and was at desktop in 22 minutes. Nice! Then the cumulatives from Patch Tuesday. All looks good (so far....)

Working on poor little slow SP3 now....
Good to know it is working all well. For now, I don't have any issue which requires an in-place upgrade.

MS has a built in out this time.

They are recommending you wait until it is offered through WU. Had to be a lawyer involved.

Installing (85%) Windows 10 1809 via assistent upgrade right now, download was a bit slower though.
Lets hope upgrade process will go smooth without problems, also no data lost.
