Good news, Anak!
I am not using any VPN. A proxy in the context I am seeing it in my case would be the equivalent of the latter or some filtering by WD as I don't have any other A-V. For now, my computer is working very well with the performance a bit upgraded ( I can feel it while navigating doing all my tasks). I am kind of confused about the whole thing (this glitch) and honestly I am having difficulty in understanding where it might emerge from. My best guess would be Edge acting up.
I will have to pay closer attention to it in the event it ever happens again.
Edit: And then gain, where this @tats25 came from. That is the big puzzle, mind you!

Not sayin' you were, stop and think for a second; z3r010 was the first to pick up on it. Some how, some way your email program Outlook is adding the proxy into your communications, you or your actions have nothing to do with it.
Check some of your other correspondence and that includes 10F, do you see outlook adding proxies to either your outgoing or incoming emails? See if there is a pattern.
Where did tats25 come from? Well he does have a post in general support but he hasn't replied yet only dalchina.
Hmmm...I wonder, Someone, I don't recall now or how far back, started a thread about another forum that was a pretty much exact copy of TenForums, I wonder if posts and notifications from there some how got mixed with here.
Naw, that's not possible, or is it?
Thanks a lot for the reference. At least @tats25 is a member of TF and to answer your question, I don't see any pattern either in my outgoing, nor my incoming emails. Far from me trying to accuse anyone, because I don't even understand what's going on. Has the message been misdirected and fell in my inbox?. I just don't know.
Incidentally, like you said, I do remember seeing a member receiving a message which exactly looked like TF's one with at the end of the URL "amazonses" as far as I can recall and he/she was trying to figure out what was that. On the other hand, I have all the tools to monitor what's going on my computer. With patience, if this were to happen again, I would definitely go for a deeper inquiry. For now, everything is working smoothly.
You're welcome,
Keep an eye on those emails for patterns. Stuff like this is hard to figure, most of the time it gives me an instant skull pain. I can't see how tats25's notification could have been misdirected he's only posted once and that was 18hours ago, | Your post about it was 9hours ago, 10F doesn't take 9hours to send a notification what was the time stamp on the email?
"Amazonses" is a simple email service (SES), z3r010 probably has that service to help defray the cost of sending all these notifications out, do you realize that some of these SES's charge any where from .03 to .10 or more US to forward emails, lets say 10F has 1,000 emails to get out that's 30.00 to 100.00 USD a day. I have amazonses tacked onto my notifications to, nothing to worry about.I like the way 7F notifications are where there is a teaser from the message that was posted that way you know if the note jives with the thread but I can understand why John stopped that, it costs less to send a shorter note.Code:Ten Forums support@tenforums.org via amazonses.com to me
Gettin' late here and I'm puttin' the smokin' lamp out, see ya tomorrow.
I will follow your advice about having a closer look on the patterns of incoming and outgoing emails. To tell you the truth, I am not considering this incident to be a big thing so as to make a big fuss about it. I am seeing it as a one-off. Thanks also for the clarification on "amazonses". I just didn't know.
The time stamp is in post #1523 and the screenshot taken as a proof in post #1525.
Sleep tight and probably will chat tomorrow again. Have a nice one.
