    1809 not installing

I have a Thinkpad T60 (yes, from the stone age ) which I am just out of curiosity updating on Win10. Up until 1803 this has been running smooth and fine with no issues.
But no 1809-versions will install. I have tried the one offered regular on WU and the 19H1 version from the Insider Preview, same result.
What happens is that download and installing runs fine up until the first proper restart (i.e. the Lenovo-logo showing). After a few seconds with very little HDD activity (shown on the indicator lamps on top of the keyboard), a Windows logo shows - and no further activity whatsoever. And the machine is completely unresponsive to any keyboard commands and remains so despite left overnight.
Only a forced shutdown will shut the computer down, and on restart it is reconfiguring version 1803.
There is no driver issues in "Device Manager"
Any ideas to resolve this will be greatly appreciated

Why not try to turn off your filter keys and also update your Lenovo keyboard driver. Maybe this can help:

It never hurts to try. One word of caution: don't use their third-party software to update your driver. You are better off going directly to the manufacturer's site for that.

Run the SetupDiag mentioned in this post and see if output tells you anything.

Finally! I believe this is what was bogging down my 1809 update. I see by the status box that I have some reading and searching to do. I'm not sure about Morphisec but I know I have some version of Cisco AMP for Endpoints.

This is more common than you might think!
Restarted - Winver 1809 (OS Build 17763.288) (RP Build)

MANUAL check for updates, "You're up to date"
    UNinstalled KB4476976
    Restarted - Winver 1809 (OS Build 17763.107)
MANUAL check for updates CU KB4480116 offered - downloaded and installed - restart requested
    Restarted - Winver 1809 (OS Build 17763.253)
MANUAL check for updates, "You're up to date"

So all is now good, but WHY did it install that RP update in the first place.......another "Muppetsoft Mystery" brought to you by the truth fairies of Redmond
OMG you're right! This fixed my 17763.288 build weirdness too. Thanks so much for that!

I pulled the trigger a couple of days ago, I had 1809 blocked on wushowhide for about a month after it showed up to be installed on the next automatic update.

Happy to report that I could not find a single problem with the install. Even my XP era HP printer with the archaic (but imo very useful) Solution Center works perfectly as it always has before.

The one problem I did have was the need to reinstall an HP4650 printer. It would not be recognized on the local network before simply reinstalling it.
