Nothing here!? What is an "advanced user" or advanced by virtue of pressing "check for updates"?
I'm assuming "advanced user" in this context is supposed to be for someone that just doesn't let Windows auto update??

Despite what that says, there are still some upgrade blocks listed for 1809 though.

Thanks."check for updates" tells me I'm up to date with 1803 17134.471. I don't match any of the blocks that I have seen.

    UPDATE:

I have my neighbour's Acer laptop here to be upgraded, and her husbands Sony Vaio laptop, both always updated and kept in all means up to date. Both running German W10 PRO x64. Neither of the two can find 1809 from WU, have to upgrade them from ISO.

Likewise. WU auto checks every day or so with no hits so far for v. 1809. Patiently waiting and backed up.

I have 3 exactly the same computers in every way hardware and software in the same office and 2 of the 3 found the upgrade with WU and the last one I had to use the ISO.

    Hi there

When I had ISL (Icelandic display language) enabled on the base ENG-GB version of windows 10 pro I never got the update -- had to do it manually from the ISO.

On another machine where I just have ENG-GB the update worked via WU normally. Both laptops are identical (HP Envy Intel i5 CPU's with INTEL graphics).

    Cheers

saw a comment on Tweaking about a major fix to his program

Apparently if you used Safe mode and went back to normal, MS left a registry entry behind which meant that the OS was still in Safe mode

And a final note... It took me directly to Windows 10 v1809 Build 17763.194, as I don't have KB4471332 in history
I think the build that is installed by default now is the 17763.194, before, the build that was installed was the 17763.107, I believe this because on MSDN there are already new ISOs updated on December by Microsoft: 17763.194, I don't know if the MCT has also been updated to that build.

It is very likely the case, or at least will be updated within a week.
