With the CU that takes us to 17763.134 I think we all but have the Fall release. I don’t intend to race to get the release until it is offered. If there are problems, they’ll get ‘fixed’ before I get it!
I turned my computer on (I'd been out all morning) and checked Windows Update and Security. The update was already downloading and installed quickly. Got a restart notice and here I am.

Whoever is using a DVD should be ashamed of themselves, more pointlessly wasted plastics when a USB is very reusable.
I have at least 75 DVDs left from a couple or three years ago. Haven't used one in a long time, but sometimes nothing else will work on older machines.

Josey weren't you on 1809 so it was just the CU you got.

Or did it download the full upgrade from 1803 to 1809

My little Probook is still looking. Can't imagine how many systems are hammering on the MS servers.
Yes I only got the CU plus the 2 other one's

Indeed I agree. USB is much faster than DVD. Save your time and the planet.

Sorry for asking a question I SHOULD know the answer to --but dont!

I'm currently running Win10 Pro x64 build 17763.55. If I did an in-place Upgrade using the build 17763.107 ISO would that yield the same results as running the CU as a stand-alone?

I have BOTH the ISO and the CU, and need to decide which to use.

FWIW, I was able to transition from 17763.107 to 17763.134 by leaving the Insider Preview program (updates only flavor), restarting a couple of times, then updating to the KB that brings the PC up to 17763.134 level. All good now. All of my 1809 machines are now at 17763.134. No problems updating any of those 4 machines: i7 6700K Z170 desktop, 2 mobile i7 Haswell Lenovo laptops (T520 and X220T), and i7 3630QM mini-ITX desktop. Curiously my Insider Preview/Skippy machines didn't "see" the MSRT for this month. Don't they usually grab that no matter what release they're running?
