Is it safe to do a fresh install of 1809 from official ISO creator yet?
Microsoft is blocking one of my computers from receiving 1809 because of a particular Intel graphics driver that Windows Update automatically installed on my computer in October.
I'm apprehensive to install the new UWD driver from Intel because some people are saying that after you install the new driver, Windows Update uninstalls the UWD driver and installs a legacy driver (something that can supposedly cause system stability issues). My other option would be to revert to an older driver, but I'm not sure if I want to do that either.
I had a bit of time on my hands today so decided to give Check for Updates a go.. worked ok on my Lenovo Ideapad 520. The only thing of note was that my DXO PL2 hung on opening and had to be closed with task manager. A second try worked ok.
I'm starting to wonder when Microsoft will actually take the time to fix this atrocious release, it's been almost 2 months and still not a proper cumulative update in sight, absolutely broken mess especially on laptops, I'm thinking to go in the insider ring cause it'll most likely be more stable.

What kind of issues are you experiencing? I have no issues on 2 computers, but I've seen a lot of reports on issues however.
Like @CountMike said, the safest thing you could do is entering the Insider Programme on the Release Preview Ring. We are currently on Revision 194 for this Windows build and it's running great for most of us.
1809 Re-Released? To who? Five computers and not one has received it. I wish MS would stop these BS upgrades. I'd be happy to stay on 1803 or even 1709 or whatever but no, MS will stop supporting at some point so you are forced to upgrade. Oh but wait, I do what MS wants me to do and let them "control" my updates and they don't even give me them. smh
