Current Status of Windows 10 October 2018 Update version 1809

A reminder, geeks, TenForums Live Wecbast - Hyper-V Special tomorrow Saturday:

If you upgarded to 1809, then rolled back to 1803, are you now blocked from getting 1809 via Windows update? Anybody know the answer to that?
17134.407 here and Windows update says I am all up to date. I upgraded to 1809 when it was first released, then rolled back to 1803 due to usability issues. That was before they pulled the update due to the undiscovered bugs.
Windows 10 Enterprise 1803.

What does that mean, Josey Wales? You no longer receive release preview?
I was not in the RP when I upgraded to 17763.168. That put me into it and now I am out of it where I wanted to be. I will get updates as a plain old user.

Just been interrupted on a Saturday morning with a big blue screen saying Windows needs important updates from time to time and needs to reboot. Still 1803 !!!! Microsoft really need to rethink this belief that they "own" all of our computers and can do whatever they like to them whenever they like. It's getting rediculous and it's still extremely unprofessional of them that they have left me with a mumbo jumbo mismatch of different versions on my different systems after whatever it is 6 weeks or so!

Just curious. What build is your system running? Is it Home or Pro? What CPU is installed? What is the Activity history setting? What is the Diagnostic data set at in Diagnostics & Feedback? Your My Computer section has really nothing in it.

It's for if you have older versions of the apps below.
Morphisec Protector version 2.4.8
Cisco AMP for Endpoints version 6.2.3.10814
@Brink, I borrowed this quote from the bottom of your post #682:
Cisco AMP for Endpoints version 6.2.3.10814
An upgrade block remains in place for earlier versions of the applications than those listed above.
I have Cisco's EAP-FAST, LEAP, and PEAP installed by my OEM; Do you or anyone else know if these versions qualify as the aforementioned earlier versions of AMP?
I went to the link shown on the win10 update history page and that lead me to this: Cisco AMP for Endpoints version 6.2.3.10814 (For more information see the Cisco Security support page) I went to the cisco support page and it only mentions AMP and not the ones I have.
Related to Jamis and Tonyb. I'm on 1803 not 1809, I also had a revision? to 3057 my second. It doubled in size from .54 to 1.01MB

It looks like there is currently no workaround available yet according to this quoted below from their support page below.
"There is no workaround for customers impacted by Microsoft’s imposed block of the Windows 10 October update (version 1809)."

Yeah I saw that. Oh well, just have to wait it out. Thanks Shawn!

Windows 10 Enterprise 1803.
I'd like to know the answer to this too. I upgraded to 1809 through Windows Update when I checked for windows updates manually but rolled back to 1803 a few days later when I read about all the issues it had. My version is Windows 10 Home. I too am on 17134.407 and all up to date. Im wondering if I will be blocked from getting 1809 pushed to me through Windows Update because I rolled back to 1803?

I could force the issue by running the MCT etc. To be honest I'm in no big hurry to upgrade. Was just something I wondered about and might it be why I haven't gotten it via Windows update.
