Very true, Reddice! I do the same thing, and am no stranger to reinstalling everything. That's why I keep my system pretty lean.

Yes, I know all about GPT vs. MBR. I thought that someone was referring to 'the' GPT partition, in the context of talking about reserved partitions and such, and I wasn't sure what they were talking about.

Here's my Macrum Reflect partition breakdown of my home box. Note that the only two drives checked are my C:/ drive and my H:/ drive--H:/ being the destination for my Macrum Reflect backup of C:/. Note that C:/ is composed of several partitions appropriately labeled, and that C:/ is but one partition on my GPT disk 1. Good thing is that when you first install Win10x64, it automatically sets up the partitions it needs for booting to drive c:/...

When imaging c:/, I always use the Create an image of the partitions required to backup and restore Windows option, on the left side of the screenshot--that is automated, too! MR is highly recommended! Very fast, very good.

They were, which prompted me to look it up. I'm glad I did, because I know something new.

Mentioned the removing of "unwanted" contextmenu-items ( library, Open location, etc. ) before.
Big, nasty problem was ; you could easily remove them with Brinks tweaks , but they all came back after reboot.

Even Brink could not find a stable solution , his tweak only worked until next reboot , then you have to apply them again..........

Took me a few days to find a solid working solution !
Made a task in the taskscheduler with Brinks reg-tweaks , combined in ONE task...........works awsome !
This task will be executed three minutes after each reboot ................finally a CLEAN contextmenu again !!

Intel inadvertently released versions of its display driver (versions 24.20.100.6344, 24.20.100.6345) to OEMs that accidentally turned on unsupported features in Windows. After updating to Windows 10, version 1809, audio playback from a monitor or television connected to a PC via HDMI, USB-C, or a DisplayPort may not function correctly on devices with these drivers. Workaround: To see if your device is affected and, if so, resolve the issue, see this Windows Forum post. Next Steps: Microsoft is working with Intel to expire these display drivers, including coordinating with OEMs, and will provide an update on the resolution in an upcoming release. For more information, see Intel Customer Support article. Note: This Intel display driver issue is different from the Intel Smart Sound Technology driver (version 09.21.00.3755) audio issue previously documented.

used MR on two computers this morning where I messed them both up --- thank goodness for MR!

Much like my experience a while back. Hosed both machines and rather than fight/struggle with "fixing" them it was just so easy to restore my day old image with MR. Echoing "thank goodness for MR!"

These applications may impact customers’ ability to save Microsoft Office documents. Workaround: Uninstall affected applications and get updated versions from respective vendors when available. Next Steps: We are working with Morphisec and Cisco to address this issue in updated versions of their applications.

I was in the middle of a clean install of 1809 adding back all my "data" to programs couple weeks ago. One program would not accept a copy of the files, no matter what I tried. I made an MR image of my clean install in progress... restored the MR image I made prior to the clean install.... exported the data using a different method... restored the clean install in progress and finished up. "MR such a life saver!"
