Since my routine where im installing updates is either on 13th or 14th day of a month,i will cancel my plan to delay 1809 until January 2019,and proced to install this update tonight.

Yes for me is the same something weird happen whith media creation tool, now downloading iso.
So for us who already are on 1809 don't need to do anything weird? No reinstall, repair or banana peels? Only the monthly CU?
Josey weren't you on 1809 so it was just the CU you got.
Or did it download the full upgrade from 1803 to 1809
My little Probook is still looking. Can't imagine how many systems are hammering on the MS servers.

The reason is most probably that you've used Rufus on that USB before and it has left it with a gpt partition. This will always fail with error code 0x80004005 - 0xA001A. The MCT expects all USBs to have an mbr partion.
