I'm not on 1809 at the moment, I wonder if baking KB4100347 into 1809 is going to cause some grumbling if people who had a problem with KB4100347 on 1803 get to experience it on 1809.

Also as I noted on the 1803 thread, I got KB4023057 on two 1803s today. So guess I'll see if it just starts automatically installing once I leave it idle for long enough.

tinypic is this: TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing Video Hosting

It's an image upload/share service. There may be a pic on a page of the thread that's making it ill. That's happened before.

EDIT: Just now, it cleared up. Suspect Tinypic.com was having burps. All ok,now.

The 'tinypic' problem is caused by post #272. It quotes post #203 which includes an image hosted on tinypic.com, this image in fact:
    http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=rjmsma&s=9

In the original post it caused no problem, but in the quote it does, the original inage doesn't appear but a link to tinypic is contained in the quote - hence the continual attempts to connect that f14tomcat spotted: whenever you are on the page that includes post #272 (page 28 unless you've changed the default number of posts/page).

No, it's just that you are now on the next page of the thread, one that doesn't include post #272.

I don't know why, but you can't defer updates in Windows 10 Home. I don't understand it, but that's the way it is.
MS are not (yet) automatically rolling it out if you press update button. They are going to be more careful and only roll it out to pcs where the hardware is checked and proven to be compatible.

Anybody can use mct upgrade now manually of course

I actually got updated from 1803 407 to 1809 107 about 6 hours ago via WU check for updates.

I am having problems with my audio device. I cannot get any audio for the Creative Labs X-Fi series on my desktop using the Windows Upgrade 1809. I started with version 1709 and everything was working fine. Once I upgraded to 1809 I can't get the audio to work. I am using a Dell XPS 600 (I know that it's too old but I can only install the 32 bit version of Windows 10). I tried reinstalling the audio drives but still without any luck.

Assuming you manually upgraded to 1809, you take the risk of going into uncharted territory. MS is said to try to restrict delivering upgrades to machines with which they are incompatible- that restriction applies to Windows update.

Presumably you've tried using older drivers.

Yes, I downloaded the drivers for Windows 10 directly from Creative Labs website. I know my computer is incompatible but still works kind of well with Windows 10 32 OS.
