100% agree with you.
On the other hand, your advice was a good one "waiting at least for a week" before jumping in. I have just rolled back to 1809 because of many issues with 1903 on my production machine (Disk Cleanup takes a long time to launch, Edge is broken and cannot even be repaired or reset, WindowBlinds not working anymore etc...). Now, I have paused it for 60 days in Semi-Annual Channel Targeted. That should give me enough time to mull it (1903) over...
The funny thing is that I am on Skippy/ Fast on my second machine and everything is working fine there. Go figure...
Hear you. I wait on machines I need.
I am updating other devices and today learned that using an MCT created USB device counts as an external device.
Having another go with iso. I got further so fingers crossed.
Last device to update is usually my wife's.
I have a Fast machine as well. Have to say the software environment is nowhere near as complex.
From now on, that is exactly what I am going to do. I always rely on my system image backup from MR and do take the dive when a FU first comes out. The problem with FUs is that when you first install them, everything seems to be OK until you start using your system for a period of half a day or less, and then you realize that things are not quite the way you thought they were with little bugs here and there and also settings that have been changed.
By and large, I think it is really worth the wait sometimes. I am still on 1809 and couldn't be happier. Cheers!
