I'm new to this forum so I am not sure if this is the place to post these questions so forgive me if it should go somewhere else. I am coming from the world of Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. My new computer came with Windows 10 Pro 64 bit version 1803 installed. I have been receiving notifications from the manufacturer for driver updates that are for version 1809 which I haven't installed. Will it mess up anything to install drivers for version 1809 if I continue to run version 1803? Another question: I see Microsoft just released version 1903. If I don't install version 1809 and at some future date can I jump from version 1803 to version 1903? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am on a steep learning curve.
I think I might disagree. If your machine is running well you don't need to update drivers.
At a minimum I would do a system Image with all the change that is about to happen. (Drivers, Feature Updates)
Yes you can jump from 1803 to 1903.
Yes, you can skip versions and update straight to the latest one.
Update to Latest Version of Windows 10 using Update Assistant

and if I can jump in again I would wait at least a week before going to 1903.
Of course as Bree said earlier, where is the fun in that.
If you are on 1803 you probably like a nice stable system to get work and entertain done. With my production machines I let other be the pioneers.
