Just for the record, a repair install is not the same as a clean install. With the former, you have the advantage of keeping your apps + data files

Go to this post: Windows 10 Fall Creator's Update failing with 0xc1420121 Scroll down to the post by Greg Carmack 3rd one down, and follow the steps and procedures he has laid out and see if his advice helps. Some of the steps you have already done but there are others that look promising like the third step in the first link, it asks about the servicing stack, hey! Maybe you have a bum one and it needs fixed.
Greg is a member here as gregrocker, and him and I worked together for many years over on SevenForums to clear BSOD's and get members machines working again, his final solution is to go the clean install route, but if that's what it takes your gonna have to bite the bullet.
I see IZ89 has replied, that repair install looks tempting...
Time to Clean install.
Yes lots of work but the time you you will save trying to fix this will make it worth while.
After you get it installed and your programs in take an Image with Macrium or similar tool.
Next time something goes bump you will have an Image to restore from rather than Windows boot media.
I have to agree with @Caledon Ken (post #1746). There seems to be no other avenue, but I would make a system image backup before and after the clean install just in case the latter itself is getting bumpy.
midgo ,
See if you can open a new thread posting the error messages and error codes.
For failed Window upgrades these are some options:
a) Reset save files
b) Reset save files equivalent
c) clean install
d) troubleshoot
If you prefer to troubleshoot then open a new thread and post a link for the new thread into this thread.
There is a log collector used in another forum.
Run the log collector and post the link into the new thread.
