    Thanks Jimbo.

I will give it a try and report back.
    Official or not.
I will be very happy if it works...
    No luck I'm afraid.
I tried it in clean boot as well as normal and I still get installation failed after about 57%.
Does this method somehow just dump files in and overwrite or what???
    Thanks anyway...

    @midgo

Try this using Administrative Command Prompt:

    Code:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Check that all went through without a hitch.

Then run this in Administrative Command Prompt:
    Code:
    SFC /scannow
If all is well, then do this:
    1. Run services.msc by pressing WIN + R and typing in the command
    2. Set WindowsUpdate service startup type to Disabled
    3. Reboot Computer
    4. Go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads and delete everything in there
    5. Change WindowsUpdate StartupType to Enabled again
    6. Reboot Computer
    7. When computer reboots, go straight to Windows Defender Controlpanel and disable AV completely (AV can interfere with WU)
    8. Next go to WindowsUpdate and try update again.

Report back once you've done all the above task in order.

    Hi there
Mine still says up to date -- I wasn't given any updates and is still on 18362.53

Running as a VM though -- not that that should make any differences -- but who knows how Ms schedules and blocks updates.

Screenshot says about 5 mins ago local time Up to date -- and version is still .53

It could just be that mine is an official RP update via Windows Update, It usually takes a short while until they release these updates to the other channels

Yeah, I'm on RP, have been a very long time. I usually get all updates the second they get released, unless my hardware configuration is blocked for some reason.

Checking with Microsoft release data I can only trace to 18362.53

    But WinVer shows different

I did have a few driver updates com through but think it's more likely that the data has not escaped been released yet

    Hi there
I installed my 1903 version via UUPDUMP so who knows -- anyway doesn't seem I'm missing anything vital yet. I got a couple of WD update definitions but winver still shows .53

Might create another VM via UUPDUMP although nobody seems to have reported anything significant between .53 and .86

    Cheers
