    Yep - everything is back to normal for me.


    Regardless of the facts of how and why this happened, credit to the engineers who fixed/are fixing the issue for a quick and painless resolution to this problem.

    Ok - fair enough but certainly a server issue not software our end. Semantics rwslly. From our viewpoint, it was a problem with the hardware we are supposed to communicate with.

    Interestingly, there is a rumour doung the rounds that it was an internal attack by a disgruntled employee - don't you just love conspiracy theories - lol.

    No system is 100% reliable. Things break.

    You can only ever reach 99.99...% reliability with multiple backup systems.

    The cost of increasing reliability beyond a certain level is usually far too disproportionate to the benefit gained.

    In the end, little harm was done, and it was fixed fairly quickly.
