Not going to try anything on my machines and hopefully M$ will release an update to unscrew this major SNAFU.

I think it's strange.. I have a drive tray in mine. Two drives have the same install of Win 10 (cloned). One is activated the other drive is not. I'm thinking one drive is stored on a working server at MS. Anyways I'm just going to wait it out...
First case of an Insider's install being deactivated reported here...
18272 Activation errors - Windows 10 ForumsI had windows 10 pro originally installed before I became an insider
Wonderful, just wonderful.Update
While there remains no official statement from Microsoft on the problem, users have reported that the hardworking support operatives of the Windows giant have warned that there is indeed a "temporary issue" with its activation servers related to the Pro edition. Affected customers are advised to sit tight and wait for a fix. An estimate for when that might be? Anywhere from one to two days. Oh dear.
Mine was not an upgrade, it came with Pro installed. I checked my M$ account and the machine is still listed as having Pro installed.
Digital licences I''m sure have the base úpgrade version/edition within it - I tested OEM DL transfer'to different hardware and it didn't work (albeit mutiple activation with the same OEM key on diffrent hardware... go figure) - have yet to confirm retail transfer .. but either way they seem to be upgrading it (in MS terms that could mean anything.. LOL)
BTW .. finding a Home licence does not imply it did... it seems a default of sorts
