    Hi there

agree - I don't have a problem with snip&sketch but I don't get the date format thing some people get in file explorer on this build.

Not sure what the logic is but it seems bonkers having the same build ostensibly out for testing but different users get different bits included in it.

Not sure how modern QA and testing is done these days but IMO it's a bonkers way of doing it -- people should be testing on the same software mix for a given build.

    @swarfega

    1) you won't get the music in either flac or SACD quality --really does make a huge difference when played on studio grade reference speakers. If you are used to those bud earphones where people around you usually hear more of the "music" than you do -- ever tried travelling on trains near London in and around the rush hour where you just hear the dit dit dit sounds coming out of those things - hideous. Thank good for Noise cancelling HQ phones !!!!
    2) you have to pay a subscription for stuff you already have and at worse quality
    3) what happens if you aren't on the Internet.
    4) you can't guarantee how long music is available in their library for -- also the search algorithm is pretty ropey.

    Cheers

I am really pis*ed off with the current philosophy that some Insiders can see a development but not others. As I said earlier, Roman law of Murphus Maximus means I NEVER get to see them. It makes no sense whatsoever to restrict the Snip&Sketch updates.
The 1809 debacle has made be reappraise my enthusiasm and given me a reality check.

With my poor hearing, it probably doesn't make so much of a difference in my case.

Yeah - on one site a user even slagged off Insiders as lazy and not doing job properly!

The number of people who replied vitriolicly as well was sad to see.

We seem to have lost credibility with public at large, and now MS are jerking us around it seems by restricting users of developments, aside from not listening to us anymore it seems.

I have a feeling the guys who review the feedback only tell the development management what they want to hear (e.g. people love emojis, not negative stuff like it deletes user files).

I think it was a big mistake to open up hub to all users. Either Insiders should have a more focussed hub, or an Insider only section (like VIP section here).

While we do have some input either via the hub or on social media, at the end of the day MS are responsible for what they release.

    Hi there
    I'd make it simpler

Forget all the "Rings" -- Leave that to Opera Buffs to enjoy Wagner's Ring cycle at Royal Opera House etc and just make builds available as "beta Software" for people who want to test - and please have consistency

I can't see what the point is of having developments still going on with build 1803, and several different builds going on in 1809.

Just FREEZE the 1803 build - only serious bugs and security updates, and release say 1 concurrent vesrion of next "releasable" build of 1809 for testing and a "next windows version" which really does need to be a new significant winndows version or there's no point in it.

Surely a company the size of Ms can't be totally bonkers when it comes to methods of testing and QA -- it's not that difficult - if someone like me can log on to almost any system and break it in seconds !!!!! it shows the whole QA is just plain stupid.

Time for some "Squeaky Bottoms" as they say in Football (Round ball version) management circles !!!! perhaps.

    Cheers

Yeah, I can only hear in one ear in mono, wirh a restricted frequency range up to 5KHZ (speech is up to 8-10 KHZ). I found it difficult to listen to (particularly) women with high pitched voices no matter how loud they spoke.

I have amazing hearing aids called bicross aids. I cannot hear anything on my left due to a brain tumor that killed the hearing nerves). With normal aids, I could hear nothing on left, and so only had 180degree hearing in effect. The new aid on left is not actually sending sound to my left but beams the sound to my right hearing aid.

So now I get 360 degree hearing but all through my right ear. It was a little bizarre at first e.g. I can now hold a mobile to my left ear and hear it on the right!

The other amazing thing is it stretches high frequency sounds to a lower frequency. All women now have a deep husky (and sexy) voice - lol.

Music no longer sounds the same but hey I can hear things now.

Was your suggestion regarding downloading iso with respect to reverting back to 1803 or up to 19h1?

It seems that this build contains several changes not mentioned in the flight notes, two of them are these:

    Volume flyout.

    Cortana and Search.

I've never used Cortana and, as I said in another comment, I use a program to control the volume of the system, so I didn't notice those changes.
