Like you, I have iPhone, iPads and use them all the time with their touch screens; I have a desktop with a big beautiful 27 inch touchscreen monitor and I forget about its presence because I’m so used to using mouse.

Thanks. So it's probably still in drive properties.

    Hi there

control panel is still available -- easy way to get to it is type control panel on windows symbol(menu) and with context menu (right mouse click) select open file location -->send to desktop(create short cut).

    New Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast Build 18277.1006 (19H1) - Nov. 13-cp.png

English version is the same -- context menu and just look for open file location.

I still prefer control panel to the new settings type things.

Administrative tools is easily seen in the control panel options when the applet starts.

    Cheers

Settings>Personalisation>Themes> Desktop Icons. Just enable it.

I have had no end of trouble trying to get 18272 to update. It became unstable and updates continually failed. Startup ended up taking about 4 minutes and opening anything was a lottery.
I tried to revert to the previous build with no success, so I downloaded the iso from Microsoft of 18272. It would not manage a repair, so after two attempts, I did a clean install.
This one seems to work ok, so I have switched back to fast and will see if 18277 will now work.

I always have "control panel" and "this pc" icons on the screen, "this pc" is the nearest equivalent of "computer".

I think that is because it is a more unnatural arm position. When using a tablet or mobile you hold it in a way that rests your arms and only minimal hand movement.

With a vertical laptop screen, you are stretching your arms without any support and it gets tiring for many people. It just does not feel natural.

A mouse and keyboard is simply less physical strain I find.

Exactly and if you have any shoulder problems it is impossible.

True, Cereberus, but my 14" Lenovo will fold back so it thinks it's a humongous tablet.

    @hawkman:
At this point I don't know the answer to your question. I'll keep an eye out and see if I notice anything now that I know this kind of "alternate designation" is a possibility. Sorry I can't be of more help right now: it's new to me, too. Never saw anything like
    9nt52vq39bvn language experience package gb
    9nblggh537c2 Xboxgame overlay
    before.

I've got it at last after much trouble with 18272, it took 2 goes. I may be looking at joining the slow build in future.
