They are the same now. Store apps notwithstanding, Skippy registration gets some new broken ones. Will fork, before the holidays. Always have, always will.

The branch leading to 2H19 will be Skippy. Skippy means Skip Ahead one version past the Fast Ring. Presumably the join-up window for Skip Ahead will open up once 1809 is re-released or unpaused or whatever you want to call it.

Somewhere along the way, those of us on Skip Ahead were told that Skip Ahead and Fast Ring would be merged going forward after 1809 was released.

Yes, it was (or something), Andre. However, Skip Ahead and Fast Ring have been merged. My Insider info shows me on Skip Ahead the same as Count Mike's snippet shows a page or so back.

Those who are only on the Insider Fast Ring have Build 18272. Those of us who opted in to Skip Ahead also have Build 18272. I'd say that's pretty much proof that Fast Ring and Skip Ahead have merged and that Microsoft is going forward with the Spring/April (only the Shadow knows for sure) 2019 Update.
