Yes was just reading about this on the Nvidia forums, not a happy time for Nvidia or early adopters!
UPDATE: 10/30
In response to a request for comment, Nvidia told Digital Trends that it was, “working with users individually but we are not seeing any broader issues.”Source: https://www.digitaltrends.com/comput...s-cards-dying/Concerns are mounting over the failure rate of Nvidia’s RTX 2080 Ti graphics card, with increasing numbers of reports of dead and dying cards from early adopters. Some display issues involve artifacting and instability immediately after being installed, while others begin to show signs of degradation after a few days, despite a lack of manual overclocking or voltage manipulation.

https://www.digitaltrends.com/comput...unders-issues/Just over a week ago, we reported on the seemingly unsettling numbers of dead and dying Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti cards. Since then, the state of affairs isn’t much more clear. To try and change that, we reached out to a number of retailers, system builders, and manufacturers, to try to find out what is exactly going on, which cards are failing, and maybe even why they’re dying in the first place.
