    You can set it to do that in Skype version 8

    The annoying thing is that every time Skype has an update the settings revert to MS default.

    About F'n time Microsoft! The standalone version always had a system tray icon. The W10 geniuses decided it would be cool to remove it so users had no idea if it was actually running or not.
