Working for me. I had that problem in the Release Preview build this morning. Had to run Shawn's WU reset batch file.

I have reverted to 17763.104 slow build because of Macrium reflect backup problem, 18262 and 18267 don't work with backup.

There is a solution here: Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18234 Bug - KnowledgeBase v7 - Macrium Reflect Knowledgebase - KnowledgeBase v7 - Macrium Reflect Knowledgebase

Although, mounting images inside Windows 10 still green screens, but not from the WinPE environment.

Installed. A very odd install. Once the PC finally rebooted after around 3 minutes it was at the Welcome Screen where it hung for around 8 minutes and then I was at the desktop. Very different from the usual 'updating do not turn off your PC' screens.

Yes, on one computer I had that very lengthy. ‘Hang-time’ that I was about to think I had another failed install even though it was rebooted to new screen display. None of other updated computers did that.

After many hours trying to Update 18262 with repeated "getting things ready", now find the same thing with 18267.
Have decided finally to quit as an Insider due in no small part to age related RSI in both hands, using a touchpad, mouse, or a pen is painful....that and the sheer frustration at having to spend so much time trying to do what should be a simple Update installation.
So sorry—you have so much to offer this forum @dencal. But I understand the pain.

It seems that the fixes made in the Action center have caused that, when opening it, the animation doesn't work well.

And I think the problem of the total transparency, which is seen before the Acrylic blur appears, is worse in this build, or maybe now it will be like that "by design".
