However phase 2 - Restart to desktop took 30mins

Found mine waiting to install, clicked Install Now, and it rebooted, started at 20%, no further reboots. Completed all with the one reboot, went very quick. Seems to be running ok.

As is sometimes the case when I'm busy with other stuff, I'm late to the party here. That said, I was able to get both machines rolling right after lunch today. The Dell XPS 2720 is at 20% for "Working on Updates" (past the GUI installing phase, following the first reboot). The Dell Venue Pro 11 7130 is at 40% in the GUI Installing phase. I'll follow up if anything odd should happen, but looks like things are going OK so far (knocks on wood).

PS added 3+ hours later: Both machines upgraded without difficulty, and I was able to apply the Macrium Reflect patch and get backup working again on both of them. Using the new-fangled disk cleanup on those machines right now to clean up after the upgrade.Last edited by EdTittel; 25 Oct 2018 at 17:19.
