    October 9, 2018 - KB4464853 Update for Windows 10 Mobile (OS Build 15254.538)

    Applies to: Windows 10 version 1709, Windows 10 Mobile version 1709, Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise version 1709


    Improvements and fixes

    This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:

    • This build includes all the improvements from KB4462937.

    If you installed earlier updates, only the new fixes contained in this package will be downloaded and installed on your device.

    Microsoft is not currently aware of any issues with this update.

    Last night just before sleep I have installed it too and I got a "surprise" Microsoft Edge October Update.I couldn't belive I thought that it's some new bug or a software error.Did anyone else got Microsoft Edge Mobile October Update 15254?

    Yep, I got it too. Really sad about all this, I just love my 950XL and can't stand the prospect of having to drop it in favour of Android or iPhone at some point.

    I'm dreading the arrival of THAT day too!
    But perhaps the trauma can be mitigated: I hear there are apps available that will basically transform an Android into a WM10, with the added benefit of access to far more apps.

    Of course this is mostly cosmetics, but it should make the transition a little easier
