I haven't had problems ( that I'm aware of) on either of 2 pc's so far with any of the updates. I am at Windows Version 1809 (OS Build 17763.55. Guess I should just pretend all is ok?

. Having the same response on three systems.

    It's a puzzle...
...checking for updates and updating that system to 17134.345 didn't enable the Guest account. Maybe an earlier CU did, but MS changed their mind and removed that from the latest CU?
OK i think i was able to reproduce it, seems like the Guest account returns once i disable password protection in public sharing, so my Windows 7 (SP1) can fully communicate with the Windows 10 (1809).

    Good detective work.

Yes, I routinely turn off Password Protected Sharing for all my machines (but I didn't on one, apparently). Disabling the Guest account in a command prompt (admin) with net user guest /active:no turns Password Protected Sharing back on again, turning it off then sets the Guest account back to Active. You've nailed it.

Three active systems here are still on 1803 with no sign at all of 1809 in WU. All have feature updates deferred for the time being but nothing else is paused. So why no KB4464330 for me, it's not a feature update?

    It's an update to 1809 not 1803.

So how come so many are on 1809 when it's still being withheld?

We got on it before it was paused.

Apparently not withheld any longer. Came thru WU on both of these machines.

OK,thanks. Not sure whether you were lucky or unlucky but if I had been in your position I'd have restored an 1803 image ASAP.

I've not heard any announcement. We are talking about the upgrade and not the CU?
