Updated a couple of hours ago and noticed my cpu usage numbers are way off the mark in task manager

I also keep getting notifications bugging me about turning on virus protection, even though Bitdefender Free is running.
    @pliskken

Task manager reporting incorrectly is a "Known Issue" to be fixed.... when ????

    had fun installing this.
as it didnt want to install.
kept failing at 38% on reboot. then rebooted and rolled back to it tried again and again about 4 times and then it went to the login screen.
tried about 3 time and same thing every time.
then I ran sfc and some dism commands and download the update from windows catalog and ran it. and it finally installed.
    about 3 hours wasted
What DISM commands did you execute?

Anyone else that previously had gotten/installed KB4464330 thru WU ... get it again today ?

I just check updates on both my PC's and it was offered again. It went thru the Getting Things Ready, Downloading, Installing but didn't ask for a reboot. In Control Panel > Programs & Features > View Installed Updates it only shows the one from 10/9/2018.

Well it installed OK but was far too slow on my i7 desktop. Considering it was a 'minor' upgrade on the main 1809 why did it take so long and with the really annoying black screen with the 'Setting-up Personal settings' window that can last for ages. MS need to do a lot better on this with cumulative updates; I have work to do and so do my staff!
Took less than 5 min for me, start to finish.
You probably have a lot of stuff running in the background.
I close all programs before updating.

Yes, from start to finish it was about 3 or 4 minutes total. Very fast and no problems at all.

Did you load old driver from manufacturer?
Yes. I installed 1809 clean, not connected to the Internet. Installed ALL the drivers from Lenovo for the P52 and then let Windows Update do its final update. I know I have the latest driver from Lenovo...

So you are sure Windows did not overwrite / update your Lenovo driver.

Does your device support Adaptive Brightness?

Thought I would give this update a try. Reports as failed to install but Winver now reports I've updated to 17763.55

Before the 'update' it was 17763.1 Looks like AOMEI is going to get fired up again... back in five

Now back to where I started from. How the heck can a failed update go on and update the build number ???

    I'll try it again shortly.
