Glad to know! . Now I have to find out if they (MS) have unpaused The recent FU. The reason is because I have burned an .iso from the MCT on a DVD the day they were in the middle of pausing the Windows 10 October update (version 1809). I just want to redo the DVD.

For those who were waiting for the fix of the task manager bugs with this CU, Jen Gentleman had said this a few days ago:
    Attachment 207614
I did not have this issue before today's CU but now I do.

Sorry for the double posting. Lots of threads on 1809

According to Bleeping Computer they actually have not fixed the file delete.

2 laptops udated, but on one I got an error visible in Event Viewer that states that the update could not be installed, while on the other one I have no errors.

    Go figure...

Check the update history mine shows a failure followed by a success.

After a double check I found that it actually failed on both laptops before the Flash update, then it succeeded. Does this patch need latest Flash to work? I hope not.

Ditto mine - the failure occurred before the restart, the success occurred after the restart. So far, everything seems OK beyond that.

Update fine, it shows in history as installed ok but I have this event viewer error

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8024200D: 2018-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4464330).

Also rechecking WU and nothing shows after either.
Yeah I got that too but then another entry saying it was successfully installed. I think it’s a red herring

I'm going to bet it is fails needing that Servicing Stack update, the Servicing stack update then succeeds and then CU gets installed.

    A guess.
