    I think those microprocessors come with hardware built-in Spectre/Meltdown mitigations right? I have an older i7, but I think Intel should lower its prices a bit. Still waiting for next Ryzen architecture.

    I'm not going to upgrade. I can't see the point going from 8700K (6/12) to 9700K (8/8). It has a 0,2Ghz higher turbo, but no Hyperthread. What is the idea?
