Haven't read back, and it's getting late, so if anyone is getting the Macrium error 9 on Fast or Skippy, please see here for explanation and patch fix. Sorry if it's been recently posted. Not intending to duplicate.

Just succeeded to mount, access and modify image from Macrium Rescue disk/USB. Looks like it's a problem with mounting virtual disks in windows. Don't want to play with Deamon Tools (dirty and troublesome program) but most probably it would present a problem too.
    PS:
Mounted windows ISO and that works.
OK. Looks like I can see where is the problem.

MR tries to mount it but windows won't let it. See red rectangle ?
When ISO is mounted, that's added to device manager > Storage controllers. When MR tries to use/install it I get a GSOD (IRQ_not_less_or_equal) and that's a hint for a bad/non-existing driver among other things.

    Hi there
Not a showstopper but two issues

    1) laptop -- power settings -- takes battery options even when on mains

    2) keep getting repeated notifications and fail attempts "Windows is adding a new feature" -- then no indication of what was attempted to be added - nothing in history / logs etc !!!!!

Going to test Office 2019 on this release too -- should be interesting. !!!

    Cheers

It's not only my problem butt I believe anybody with MR on this build, GSOD when mounting .mrimg (Macrium Reflect image) and I believe "Microsoft VHD Loopback Controller" which is a SW (virtual) driver is not compatible with MR.

Good thing you can start the PC from the Macrium environment, yesterday I needed a file that was in one of the images I had created so I just started the PC in that environment and transferred the file without any problem, that's why Macrium is the best.

One thing I didn't check (yet) if it can be accessed if booted to MR from boot menu.
    Edit:
Yes it can if installed as PE W10.

I guess, if you don't want blur on the login screen, you'll have to use 'Picture Password'...
