Haven't read back, and it's getting late, so if anyone is getting the Macrium error 9 on Fast or Skippy, please see here for explanation and patch fix. Sorry if it's been recently posted. Not intending to duplicate.

    Hi folks

seems if you add another language - keyboard gets installed automatically but there doesn't seem any options to use alternate keyboards with installed languages

For instance I might want to try / switch to say QWERTY rather than AZERTY (Fr) if using Flemish (Dutch) or alternate English layouts.

I can't find where you can install keyboards any more -- sure it must be there somewhere though.

Update : it's actually under options of the installed languages -- not intuitive though !!!!!!

    Cheers

    No issues here.

First, add all the layouts you need to your display language by selecting it and clicking Options:

Then, go to Spelling, typing & keyboard settings:

Scroll down, at bottom click link Advanced keyboard settings:

Select Let me set a different input method for each app window:

Now you can select input language individually for each app by clicking the language indicator in taskbar and selecting the layout you want to:

Not much for now. You can send feedback to MS.

    Update:

New "Known issues" below added to first post for build 18252:

    • Error 0xC1900101: if your device hits this error and fails to update, rebooting and retrying the update should bypass and allow the update to proceed.
    • [ADDED] If the update succeeded but Office will not launch or services did not start, rebooting your computer should resolve the issues.
    • [ADDED] Entering the wrong PIN can show an error and stop further attempts from logging in again until the computer has been restarted.
    • [ADDED] If you are a Mixed Reality User, you might be impacted the by “Inbox Apps launching issue” mentioned above. As a workaround please un-install the Mixed Reality Portal app and re-install it from the store to get the app back to a working state.

Well like I posted my wife had this unresolved issue and some of her files were deleted. Microsoft will have to fix this before GA or faces a major backlash against Windows 10.
