Is anyone ready with a list of focussed tests/checks to run on the build when it does come out?
Problem is the known issues should have been fixed by MS if/when it comes out. The main ones I'm aware of in 1809 are...
    deletes user files (the show-stopper)
    un-zip won't replace existing files
can't set some default file associations (this one affects 1803 too)

Not sure how to focus tests on the new unknown bugs that may appear, any ideas?

Very true, Bree, and what everyone has experienced thus far would be very good to include. As an example, I didn't experience what everyone else did, and some may have experienced things other that what you did. Once all the issues are "outed", those who've had an opportunity to enjoy the experience ( ) will have an opportunity to let us know if they've actually been solved.

Testing for new issues is quite important too, and if any should be found, we should know about them.

What do you do in advance of the Preview release? We all (should) know to backup before we start and a gazillion other things that folks do to test. I'm quite sure I don't know even a fraction of things about Windows 10 that I should know. If I did, I could at least check 'em out.

Yep, I've learned quite a bit but there's more to learn and I want to know what it is and how to do it.

I think we better stay on 1803 until January 2019,at least thats i decided to do,i don't want experiments on my PC,also 1809 didn't contain important features for me.
And Microsoft after this "chaos" with 1809,should consider to release only once a year an "featured update", and extend the support for older versions of Windows 10 more, even give to the users posbility to stay on that version for at least three or four years, and when they decide to move to another version let em chose what version, for example i want to stay on 1803 for two years, after that Microsoft should let me chose to with version i want to move,1809,1903,1909,2003 and so on,do not put all users to latest version with may be buggy or to heavy for their PC.

^^^^ I am running 1809 without any issues. It seems to be a very stable build.

Well, none of those 3 would have bothered me, I don't keep any files where they could easily be lost, for archives I use Winrar and default file associations were happening every now and than in the past and were fixed easily.

Windows 2003 sounds like Windows 2003 Server. It’s still warm 😂

Well, here are a couple of lists (with some overlap) of observed supposed bugs in 1809 I've noted from various threads... (attached). Not meant to be a definitive or reliable list of course.

(My comment above referred to 'known' bugs and checking whether MS has indeed fixed them, as it might be unwise to rely on them having done so for obvious reasons).
