Hey, NoOne, did you take the regular update from WU and then choose to keep it? Then get the CU to .55? I'm curious to know if those of us on 1809.55 did the same.

I can't say how others got to where they are, but it's my understanding that so far, there are two versions of 1809 at this point. Mine and all those others.

I am on release 17763.107 and one way to get it is to join the Insider Program in the slow or preview rings.

Come Patch Tuesday there will no doubt be another CU for the public release, to .107 (or higher). But, but, but, I'm an Insider too! I just opted to keep the WU Build of 1809; however, I never received anything from MS to indicate I could go any other route.

If you want to remove an app and everything connected to it, I'd suggest looking into Revo Uninstaller. It will go in and remove all the tentacles an app has inserted into your system. There's a free version, but it doesn't have the features the paid version has. Not that I've heard of. I do a complete backup every Sunday and differential backups every other day of the week; however, I'm not going to trust my system to a registry cleaner that might prevent my backups from reinstalling. I'm a coward, yep!

I've suggested the best solution I know of above. Revo Uninstaller comes highly recommended by most of the gurus on TenForums.

I'm on the Fast Ring, Josey, and don't want to give that up, so I'll wait with the rest of "us". So, I guess that's that.
