I'm more upset about the lack of communication from Microsoft than I am about the issues with 1809. We never seem to know what the heck is going on. Even small Linux distributions keep their users better informed.

Is there any fix for the brightness control slider missing after the update? It's gone from Power Options and Mobility Center.

This is getting really disgusting, to be fair.

I really love how Microsoft -and its so called insiders- is able to hype and market something like this over the months, but then, when the s**t hits the fan -aand the final users- they jst hide in the cave without any explanation.

Nah, they are just waiting to think of a good excuse.

They don't make an update in the situation and release non sense updates for the 19H1.

They might as well release 18277 instead, works better than that pulled one.

Well Hopefully some news on Tuesday November 13th, either full unpausing, or something this is longest and quietest update paused situation i remember, even April Update 1803 wasn't paused this long. Hidden issues there not saying? really bizarre to me, even got hardware oems that can't ship latest OS to support there hardware properly

Those "so called insiders" you speak of happen to be us, Ghost. We're testing Windows 10; we don't have anything to do with "hyping and marketing" it, although I will admit there are some Microsoft "fanbois" here.

You can use 3rd party tools readily- Volume2, Volumouse (free) - use scroll wheel on mouse for brightness, volume...
