Windows 10 October 2018 Update rollout now paused

I upgraded my VMs to v9 than i reinstalled my W10 back to version 1803 ... now i have to wait for re-release of 1809 to import them. I hope it won't take them toooooo long...

And it seems quite odd too, because many are running 17763.107 without any problems. So why is this build not used for release? Could it be, that there are more bugs below the surface? Or is Microsoft just delaying it to tease us?

They may have got a wake-up call ... no more Black Tuesdays - they must do due dilligence before a major release... it's just normal... this is not Insider Cat stuff... time to get serious. They have some rep to make up for. If this release fails then I give up.

@Superfly Totally agree! Maybe they have a class action Law suit pending? If the next update of an update fails, I'll be going forward and firing up Windows 7 just to stop the two years of agro and backup, backup, backups.
I have no need for speed or adding to a cart at the app store. LOL

What will this end up being called the Thanksigiving update? if nothing next week they may as well call it that, frustrating with no news, despite my systems are running fine these days, 2 got from Windows update, 1 Clean installed, no issues, what the heck is the holdup, underlying issues?
