When it comes to these targeted features, I assume they must deliberately target me not to have the features in case I give negative feedback.

The Carry On gag "Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!" has been voted the funniest film one-liner....
It was named the best one-liner in a poll of 1,000 comedians, industry figures and film fans by Sky Movies Comedy.

Let me expound. In the traditional Navajo language there are no words for today or yesterday or tomorrow. There is only a word for now. Because the human mind works with language, there are no corresponding concepts for yesterday, etc. There is only the concept of now. There are many different nows, but they are always the omnipresent now. This concept of reality has transcended the day to day conception of going to school or going to work and of life and death itself and is the embedded picture of the Universe. Thus we do not back up our systems because that would be to defy our picture of the omnipresent now and plan for a tomorrow, that we can not conceptualize.
@Rocky, thank you for your explanation.

I had forgotten how Native Americans view time in a circular fashion in comparison to the Western linear view.
Actually; as a matter of fact, I believe I was engaged in a circular situation after I posted asking you if you could explain what you meant, that is why it took longer than I expected to reply, for which I apologize.

My Nephew, (who has a circular view of time) and I had made plans to cut some timbers on my property yesterday, there was no set time when he was to arrive, just early and when he did we just started to work with no expected time to stop, finally at Sunset we did.

Personally I prefer circular time but unfortunately I had to resort back to linear and I am caught between the two worlds when I had to make plans last evening to arise at 6:30 this morning and get ready for an early doctors appointment.
The only mention I will make about DST (Daylight Savings Time) is, I am glad it is over and we are back to EST (Eastern Standard Time). The European Union is scrapping DST for 2019, I wish the Americas would do the same.

I admire and respect your commitment to the customs and traditions of your Nation and wish you well in all your endeavors.

Well, anybody complaining about W10 update process should go and try installing Sp3 on XP on a laptop like I'm doing now. Here it is, cooking and simmering like a crock-pot for 3 hours and no sign of finishing any time soon. No progress bar, nothing to indicate if it's alive or dead as a door-nail.

    Yá’át’ééh!
    Hi there

I think one of the Ben Bova science fiction books had a Navarro Indian as first person on Mars and instead of prepared politicians speech he used the Yá’át’ééh word !! surprising people back on Earth.

However without conceptual Yesterday / Today / Tomorrow etc it must be nigh on impossible to get any sort of large scale commercial transactions or sensible contract law done --- also if I pay with a Credit Card in a reservation shop do I actually ever have to pay the bill !!!!..

Seriously it's great people have and keep their traditions but you have to co-exist these days with all sorts of things unless you are 100% self sufficient and don't need anything from outside. This necessarily means some sort of compromise - but you don't have to give up the essential part of the culture.

@CountMike -- SP3 install on an XP VM with old fashioned HDD -- 20 Mins -- your HDD's etc must use thick treacle or Molasses as oil on their bearings !!!!

@Anak --EU (not political argument here just fact) is scrapping the annual change -- up to the individual member states whether they keep DST year round or current time zone ---- northern countries would probably keep current time, more southern ones would go for DST year round -- each country can choose. The odd ball will as always be UK who always confuses everybody (but I think it will be out of EU by the time that change is implemented).

Iceland keeps current timezone all year round.

    Cheers

Are you guys aware that MS is going again to change the name sequences of future FUs. ? I thought that the new one (19H1 and so on …) was perfect. No place for confusion there!
